I’ve decided that our society has it all wrong.
Somehow, sleep has become synonymous with “lazy”.
But, I have found delight in so much information coming out lately about good sleep being an essential component of a healthy lifestyle!
Sleep not only causes changes in your brain, but can also impact your kidneys, lungs, heart and other vital organs. Some of the systems in the body negatively impacted by lack of sleep include: digestive, endocrine, central nervous and musculoskeletal systems. Sleep deficiency can contribute to: kidney stones, IBS, fertility problems, heart disease, headaches/migraines, arthritis, thyroid disorders and many other conditions. – Dr. Josh Axe
